Supply of components is only part of the NPT service and the dedicated teams of engineers and technicians are always available to help customers select the right equipment for their needs and help with any related product issues.
Post-tensioning results in thinner slabs, which produce valuable extra space, which in turn, can be used to create additional floors. This provides valuable extra floor space within the same overall height of the structure. A NPT designed slab can contain less concrete (20% to 30%), a minimal quantity of reinforcement and less complicated re-bar shaping, leading to a cost-effective sustainable structure.
To obtain maximum benefits from NPT slabs, it is recommended that the system is incorporated into the building structure at early design stages.
Services
Repairs
Structural repairs and solutions are required in the short term mainly due to construction defects generated on site. In the long term, concrete, like all other building materials, requires surveillance and maintenance over its design life to protect the overall sustainability of the structure.
Post-Tensioning Equipment Storage In The Field
Proper field storage of the post-tensioning equipment is key to ensuring the equipment performs properly for the duration of your project. The equipment storage box provided by NPT is NOT intended to be used as storage for Grout ,Spray Paint, Drills, Walkie Talkies, Chalk for line chalks or any chalk for that matter, Extension cords, Saws ,Drills, Rope and Most other materials that were not shipped in the box from NPT
It can be clearly seen that all of the materials listed above have appeared in NPT furnished equipment boxes based on the two pictures of actual equipment in the field shown at the top of this post
The boxes we ship to the field are specifically designed for the sets of equipment that are shipped in them. Adding additional objects to the box can break hydraulic and electrical fittings, which obviously impedes the equipment from performing as designed
The picture shown below is of how the equipment lies in the box when it is shipped from our facility and an actual set of equipment in the field that is properly stored
